Beyoncé to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show

Just call her Super B!

After a source told the Associated Press that Beyoncé will take the stage at the halftime show during Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 in New Orleans, the superstar officially confirmed the news herself with a post on her official website.

Beyoncé made the announcement via a photograph in which the date Feb. 3, 2013, is written on her face in the style of a football player sporting eye black. At the top of the page, the announcement reads: "Countdown to Touchdown."

The mom to Blue Ivy, 9 months, most recently performed alongside husband Jay-Z during his Oct. 6 show at Brooklyn's new Barclays Center.

During last year's halftime show, Madonna incorporated LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. into her 12-minute performance.

Fans can't help but wonder if Beyoncé, 31, will share the stage with any of the number of artists she's worked with like Kelly Rowland, Shakira and Sean Paul.

It’s happened again. Beyoncé is furthering the theory that she’s the fiercest woman on the planet, redefining the term “effortlessly cool” in the House of Deréon fall campaign.
In recent months, Beyoncé has been rocking an edgier look — think loud prints, wide-brimmed hats and circular sunnies — and apparently her taste has trickled into the fall collection of her mother’s clothing line.
In the campaign photos, posted to the label’s Facebook page, Queen Bey rocks black-and-white printed pants teamed with a sexy moto vest (left), a high-waisted leopard-print maxi paired with a black bustier and leather jacket (center) and a sexy cut-out mini finished off with biker boots (right). And all of the outfits feature Mrs. Carter’s current go-to accessories, including her favorite topper and shades.

Oh, and just a reminder in case you (somehow) forgot: the star gave birth only seven months ago and she looks like that. Ugh. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: We want to be Beyoncé when we grow up. Tell us: What do you think of Beyoncé’s House of Deréon campaign?

Motherhood Makes Beyoncé Feel 'More Beautiful Than Ever'

She's an entertainment force of nature, 16-time Grammy winner, and beauty and style icon. But Beyoncé is proudest of one title that also happens to be her most recent: mommy to little Blue Ivy Carter.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," says PEOPLE's 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

The "Crazy in Love" singer, 30, and her husband of four years, Jay-Z, 42, have gone gaga for Blue, born Jan. 7 in New York City. "She's just the cutest thing," gushes Beyoncé, who croons one-of-a-kind tunes to her daughter and professes to "love" changing diapers.

So who does her daughter most resemble? "She looks like Blue," says Beyoncé, who is back to her pre-pregnancy weight and gearing up for her first post-baby concerts, Memorial Day weekend at the Revel Atlantic City. "She's her own person."

"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she adds. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

Beyoncé, who just celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary (on 4/4 no less!) with Jay-Z, is letting fans have a "view into her world."

The ultra-private music mogul launched a special Tumblr page Thursday featuring personal photos. (Beyoncé's big launch is Beyonce.com, and the Tumblr is part of the site.) In a message to fans, she writes, "it's been a long time coming – but I finally have my own place on the web."

Besides an artful gallery of stylish photos, the multi-media site includes sections on "The Latest" (with a pre-sale announcement for Revel), "Music," "Vault" (which she calls "the heart of my site"), "Beyhive" (for the official fan collective), "Performance" (listing her Atlantic City concerts on May 25-27) and "I Am" (offering a private message that clicks onto more photos).


Designer Matthew Siskin earlier announced on Twitter that he was working on the page, declaring, "I'm not sleeping till we're done."

The couple's first foray into Tumblr came shortly after the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

When she turned 4-weeks-old, Jay-Z and Beyoncé shared the first photos of her, and have kept her under wraps since when stepping out.

The singer took her daughter, born Jan. 7, out to eat in New York City's West Village on Saturday.

Dressed down in an oversized navy jacket, black hat and shades, the singer, 30, kept her newborn bundled up and out of view of photographers.

The casual attire is a change for the new mom, whose first appearances since giving birth were remarkably chic.

As for Blue Ivy, Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles told PEOPLE recently, She's doing great ... She's beautiful."

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have introduced their 4-week-old baby girl, sharing multiple photos of her on a new official website.

Born last month, the little one – who has a full head of dark hair – is shown on her own and also being cradled by each of her famous parents, who are clearly beaming with joy.

A handwritten note posted to HelloBlueIvyCarter reads, "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives." The note is signed "The Carter Family." (Jay-Z's real name is Shawn Carter.)

Just this week Beyoncé, 30, made her first post-baby appearance to celebrate husband Jay-Z's double concert dates at Carnegie Hall.

Beyonce Shows Off Post-Baby Body

Beyonce stepped out on Monday night, marking her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January.

The 30-year-old new mom was on hand to support husband Jay-Z at Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he performed with Alicia Keys and Nas to benefit his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and the United Way.

The pop star sported an orange Alice Temperly dress that elegantly showed off her curves and a pair of Christian Louboutins. She completed the look with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and an Alexander McQueen clutch.

And what did Beyonce think of her husband’s show, which included a performance of “Glory,” which features the cries of their newborn?

“It was amazing,” Beyonce told the New York Daily News.

Following the show, Beyonce was photographed headed to the afterparty at New York’s 40/40 club. The smiling singer skipped the red carpet, ducking into the club through a side door.
